Backcountry Tactics provides mobile training opportunities for tactical teams, law enforcement and correctional units that are tasked with apprehending dangerous fugitives in open air, wooded and rural environments.
The 2023 NTOA Tactical Response and Operations Standard identified man tracking operations as a necessary mission capability for Tier I and Tier 2 SWAT teams; and as an optional mission capability for Tier 3 and Tier 4 SWAT teams.
Our Man Tracking Operations course was specifically developed to address this operational capability. Courses are delivered in your area at your facilities.
This 5-day course is presented using focused lectures, extensive field & range exercises, force-on-force scenarios with role players, a table-top exercise and a final functional exercise. The overall course objective is to prepare officers to respond and participate in man tracking operations.
